The Dualistic Concept Of Heaven And Hell

Featured

Heaven and Hell are not places that you go to after death. Whether you’ve been “good” or “bad” there are no such places as Heaven and Hell; they are merely concepts that exist in the mind. We create our own Heaven and Hell here on earth.

The only reality, ultimately, is Consciousness, which exists as it is. For Heaven and Hell to exist, they would have to have some form of objective reality, which means that they would have to appear somewhere within the timelessness of Consciousness. If that was the case, they would have limitations (boundaries), which would render them both finite. This completely blows out of the water the mythological religious view that Heaven and Hell are eternal; eternal bliss and eternal damnation respectively. You cannot have two eternities, it is both spiritually and scientifically impossible. Eternity is timeless infinity, so if Heaven and Hell existed there would have to be a place (boundary) where one ceased and the other began. Therefore the only conclusion is that both Heaven and Hell are dualistic concepts that exist only in the mind.

The Flawed Concept Of Western Religion

The existence of the God of Western Religion is not only scientifically impossible; it is also spiritually impossible. Even the name “God”, is a term created by humans for the purpose of communicating with a deity. Does it not stand to reason? In accordance with that human habit of wanting to name and label everything, the same must surely apply to the deity. Otherwise, how would we address a nameless deity? How would the church threaten the masses with eternal damnation? But I digress…

It is generally accepted by all religions that God exists in a state of eternal bliss as Infinite Cosmic Consciousness. Even the Christian Church’s view of God bears some resemblance to this. However, the Christian Church also objectifies God as a deity that exists separately from the rest of creation; including the human race. If this was the case, that God exists as a deity, independently from the rest of creation, it would mean that Infinite Cosmic Consciousness would have to displace a piece of itself. If Consciousness displaced a piece of itself it would no longer be infinite, as by definition, infinity has no limitations or boundaries. You cannot have a cut-off point within infinity where something else exists separately. Therefore, the whole concept of Western Religion is flawed.

A New Experience

It’s been quite a crazy time for me really; I feel like I’m going through a weird kind of transition period and I’ve just not been in the mood to write. For those who have been following my work for some time, you will know that I tend to write a lot about my actual experiences; and as I stated before Christmas, spectacular experiences, especially of the out-of-body type, have been at an all time low. So, it was with great relief that something of note; albeit something completely new, happened to me on the morning of January 21; something that I could actually blog about. Now before I get into the main theme of this post, I will just recap slightly because I’ve noticed that I have a number of new followers and I don’t want to leave them confused.

Since 1999 I’ve had so many out-of-body experiences that it would be impossible to recount them all.  They became so common-place that these days I only write about the truly amazing ones. I’ve also had many, many other experiences of a (sorry for using this word) “supernatural” nature; the likes of which most people only dream about. I say supernatural because it is a word people understand; unfortunately, it is a word that’s quite often used to describe all the stuff that gives someone like me a bad name. So, there I was, minding my own business…

It was the very early morning of January 21 and I started to dream. I was in a theatre, it was very dark and I was laying on my back on the stage. There was other people with me but I could not see them; I simply had a knowing sense that they were there. As we lay there, there was beams of what I understood to be harmful microwaves shooting out at us. My understanding of these was that they were being projected towards the Earth by aliens (yes, I know it sounds crazy, but I’ll get to the point soon). The microwaves missed us because we were laying on our backs. All of a sudden, I experienced a state of being that was completely new to me; and I shall explain.

Our dreams may be crazy most of the time, however, the emotions that we experience are very real; indeed, the only real difference between dream state and waking state is that in dream state we tend to experience rather intense emotions and are unable to physicalise. Also, some of you reading this will be familiar with being able to experience yourself as pure consciousness (our natural state) during meditation. When we achieve this state of awareness, it is as though the physical form has simply dissolved away and we become all expansive; we become “all that is” and at the same time, nothing. The key words in that last sentence are “all expansive”. Why? Because, in my dream I experienced the opposite of being “all expansive” whilst at the same time being just that.

Even though I was dreaming I was aware of what was going on. The story may have been nonsense (yes, yes, I know, it probably contained some kind of profound message) but the feeling was very real indeed. I felt myself entering a state of awareness that I had never experienced before; I actually felt quite apprehensive at the onset. Then I found myself in this incredible state; I was “all that is”, but I was within “all that is” as a mere atom. So, in simple terms, I experienced myself as an atom within the infinity that is creation, whilst at the same time experiencing being all expansive. Then the dream just got more and more ridiculous and less and less profound until I woke up.

I’m hoping this is the start of something new and exciting that will give me subject matter for another book! Thanks for following me and supporting my work. Please do leave a comment!!

From Ears To Eternity

pics 013Some religions tell us that we will attain eternal life by behaving in a certain way and adhering to certain doctrines and dogma. However, I wish to put forward my own take on this because I do not believe that it is possible to attain something that we already have.

Where will this eternal life take place anyway? Presumably in a place called “eternity”; but if eternity exists, how can it be a place that we go to? The very name suggests boundless infinity; therefore if we had to attain eternity, eternity would not exist because to attain it would imply that where we are now is a separate place. If where we are now is a separate place it implies that there must be some sort of cut-off point between our current existence and this place called eternity. That being the case, eternity would not be eternity because it would not be infinite and boundless.

We are eternal beings of spirit; pure consciousness. We have always existed, even if we have not always been individualised. The “stuff” of which we are made is eternal, so whichever way we look at it, we have always been in existence. Therefore we cannot attain eternal life because we already have it, and we do not go to a place called eternity because we are already there; this life is merely an aspect of the boundless and infinite Super-Consciousness we call God. The formless manifested as form.
