Spring

Branches of trees sway in the breeze

Bursting with green

It’s spring! If you please

Blue sky above

And the warmth of the sun

Mother Nature showers her blessings

On everyone

We Are Never Apart

I was once a star that lit up the sky

Do you honestly believe

That I could leave you and die

I come to you now, not in the human sense

But from the Absolute

The place we were all delivered whence

There is no above and there is no below

There is only the here and now

And the eternal energy flow

The warmth of the sun is my loving embrace

The gentle breeze, my kiss on your face

So worry not, feel the caress of my heart

And rest in the knowledge that we are never apart

Bluebells And Buttercups

Bluebells and buttercups

Have we met before

Were we once intertwined

As we passed through the revolving door

Was I once your mother,

Your lover or your son

Did you hold my hand and weep

As another race was run

Did I hold you in my arms

And smell your scent so sweet, or

Was I the unwashed urchin

You scorned in the street

All possibilities are relevant

Everything has its place

My beautiful bluebells and buttercups

I bow to your loving grace

Watching

I stand here and watch

As you sleep in your bed

Your favourite pillow

Cradling your head

You look so peaceful

Exploring your dreams

Funny how life

Is never as it seems

You cried in pain

The day I left

If only you could see

That you were never bereft

When your time comes to join me

I will greet you with my smile

And take your hand, as together

We walk the golden mile

In the meantime

I stand here and watch

As you sleep in your bed

Your favourite pillow

Cradling your head

I Am The…

I am the loss that caused you to grieve

The heart you wear on your sleeve

I am the rainbow that follows the rain

The winter frost on your window pane

I am the breeze that ruffles your hair

The footsteps you heard on the stair

I am the glint in a baby’s eye

The star that shoots across the sky

I am the balm that soothes your pain

The air you breathe again and again

I am a peacock strutting with style

Search your dreams

You will glimpse my smile

Life is eternal

We are never apart

I am the presence

Forever in your heart

Sand Bay…Again

You welcomed me with open arms

The sun it shone

highlighting your magical charms

A perfect breeze across my face

Confirming you as my happy place

The primrose and bluebells

You came to greet

Me, as the blades of grass swayed around my feet

Away from you

I am but a nightingale without a song

So, thank you birds for your chorus of love

Your symphony; your euphoric throng

Sand Bay, take me in your arms, and

Caress me sweetly

Whisper your love, and

Forever keep me

As Slumber Beckons

When the elements that comprise my body have dispersed

And I merge once again into the realm of timelessness

The world will not cease to turn

The tide will continue to ebb and flow

The flowers, in all their resplendent glory

Will still dance in the breeze

Our gracious mother sun will continue to bless us

With her light and warmth

The birds will still welcome each new morning

With a symphonic overture

And when light turns to darkness

As slumber beckons

And you lay down your weary head

I will whisper to you

“All is well”

The Eternal Cycle Of Change

Life and death; the movement of atoms and elements through an eternal cycle of change. The process through which our species evolves. Life and death are commonly judged as being good and bad respectively. But, what use is such a judgement? Will the world stop turning if you are unhappy about one day having to give up the body? Of course not, everything is fleeting, nobody owns anything; indeed, every single breath we take is returned to Mother Nature.

If you meditate on Life and death, you will find that like all other opposites in the world of matter, they are in fact One. They do not differ in kind but by degree. That is, they are fundamentally the same thing, but they are opposite poles within the eternal cycle of change.

Where Am I – Part Three

I was getting used to the conditions in my new surroundings, so when I felt the need for a bit of a rest I simply “thought” myself back into the “room without a door,” and it was in that room that I was now waking up. I’d settled into a routine and on waking, I would immediately just think myself outside, without bothering to get up first. Sure enough, every time I emerged my friend was there to greet me with that same wonderful smile. This occasion was no exception, however, this time there appeared to be a glow about him. “Hey! Don’t glow too much,” I said, “you might explode!” “Ha! The comedian has returned,” my smiling friend replied.

“What’s with all the glowing?” I said. “It’s because I’m happy,” came the reply. “Or, should I say, I’m “happier” because I’m always happy. I’m happier at this moment because you have made such good progress, and we are One you and I, so it fills me with the deepest joy. It’s also time to push on, and I’m going to start by answering all those burning questions you have; and before you ask any questions, I already know what they are because I heard your thoughts.”

“You don’t miss a trick, do you?”

“Correct, I don’t”

“I’m going to deal with what you feel are the most pressing issues first and then you can ask whatever else you wish. I know that you have been wondering where the god of religion is hanging out? Well, breathe easy my brother, the god of religion doesn’t exist, so you are not getting cast into the fires of hell any time soon. Of course, there is the “Source of All,” which for ease of reference does at times get referred to as “God.” But it would be fruitless trying to explain something that is unfathomable, so it’s best that your knowledge of the source unravels for you gradually at your own pace and in your own time. However, in due course you will have experience of this subject first hand.”

“Understand also, that you can apply different context to some of your questions, so there can be more than one answer, all of which would be correct. You want to know how long you have been here? Well, this is one such question. I have already told you that time doesn’t exist here; this is a timeless realm. However, to answer in the context in which you are asking, approximately 20 earth years.

“WHAT!!!!!!”

“OK, don’t panic, let me explain something to you. On earth you live within the illusion of the space/time continuum. So, if for example, you wanted to travel from your home that you’ve just left in your previous earth life, to Australia, but you decided that you wanted to make the journey by foot and public transport, it would take you a heaven of a long time. However, as you know, in this realm, our thoughts manifest instantaneously, so if you decided now, right now this instant, that you wanted to travel to Australia on earth, you would be there in the blink of an eye. Two journeys have taken place subject to the same laws of physics, one has had human logic applied to it and one hasn’t, but both are valid within their own context. So, the only correct answer to your question is that you have been here approximately 20 earth years, but you have also been here for no time at all. Which very conveniently brings me to your next question.”

“You want to know if you can go back and visit loved ones and friends? The simple answer is yes you can. Now, bearing in mind the answer to your previous question, not only can you go back to visit your loved ones, but you can go back to any earthly time that you wish, for example, you could go back to visit your mother from your previous life before she even gave birth to you. This is because you are not restricted by the illusion of time and space. Equally, none of us are merely “the body” so in effect what would be happening is that one soul would be visiting another within timelessness, or if you want, “the one single eternal moment of Now.” You would simply be choosing which experience you wanted to have during your visit. Having said this, you may decide that to visit particular souls who remain on earth in physical form, would not be in line with your soul purpose, or theirs, so you may choose not to do so. This may all seem a bit confusing, but it will become clearer later. Now, again very conveniently, this has led me straight into your next question.”

Where Am I – Part Two

I don’t know how long I’d been asleep, but I arose and took a good look at my surroundings. It struck me that they were very nondescript and actually quite threadbare. I had no idea how long I’d been here in this room either, but thankfully, I was still feeling very relaxed and contented. I thought to myself that I’d better go outside and explore, and then, just as I realised that there was no door anywhere to be seen, I found myself instantly standing outside in the most beautiful surroundings.

“What kept you, I’d almost given up on you.” The voice was that of my new/old friend, and I turned around to see him standing there with a huge grin on his face. “Well,” I said, “you obviously weren’t going to come to me, which you promised, by the way, so I had no choice but to come to you.” I suddenly realised that we were engaging in “banter,” the type only engaged in by very close friends.

“Ah! You are learning at last, or more correctly, you are starting to remember. I haven’t actually been anywhere my friend, in fact, I’ve been right here waiting patiently for you to join me. I wondered how long it would take you to realise that all you had to do was “think” yourself outside; look what you’ve been missing.”

He was right. I still didn’t have a clue where I was, but it was such an incredibly beautiful place; I would say that it was like nothing on earth, but as I’m not on earth anymore that would be too much like stating the obvious. Suffice it to say, that it was nature like I’ve never seen before; beyond the imagination of the logical mind. Beautiful trees and flowers, also animals and birds without a care in the world. All of us sharing the same space without fear of danger. Yes, you’ve guessed it, my friend heard my thoughts.

“There is no such thing as fear or danger here, my brother. All creatures share this wonderful world in perfect harmony. Inflicting pain and suffering on each other and our wildlife friends is unheard of here.”

Something else that struck me about my friend was how unremarkable he looked. There was something very simplistic about him, and I can only describe his face as deadpan. Yet he oozed love, kindness and wisdom and when he broke into a smile it was a picture of the utmost beauty. It was, as I came to this realisation, that I felt for the first time since this meeting that I’d known him forever.
