The howling wind envelopes me
The Goddess of the Storm smuggles me away, and
I have no choice but to surrender to her whims
It soon becomes apparent, as we soar through time and space, that she means me no harm
She takes me on a journey; a great adventure
To the four corners of my imagination
For what seems like eons, we explore the timeless wilderness of unlimited possibilities. Until…
Dearest Goddess, please don’t subside now
I don’t want to go back
I don’t want to leave plots unhatched, ideas unrealised
As she fades away in the distance
Taking her place in the annals of my memory
I sit here, my creative juices stunted
Wondering what might have been

The Selfless Mother
As another golden sunset draws the day nearer to an end, I muse…
What could I possibly offer in oblation to Mother Nature that would be worthy of such an event?
Dearest Mother Nature, ever gracious in her magnificence
She who has everything yet, ever selfless, offers up every morsel, every atom in plumbless generosity
Maybe such musings on my part are fruitless
Maybe it is simply my volition to embrace my dharma
Accept what is, and
Follow the light of Love to the golden sunset within, and
Merge in its effulgence
Just A Breath Away
Like a vast universe existing within a single atom
So, the infinite peace within awaits to enfold you…
Away from worldly chaos, and
The shenanigans of life
Is a place of eternal sunrise
Free of suffering, pain and strife
A place of pristine peace
Of beauty and of grace
The air imbued with jasmine, and
Joy on every face
A place so vast
No earthly words can convey
It all exists within you
A single breath away
Just follow the gentle babbling brook
The flow of primordial Aum
It will lead you to your very core
Your life, your truth
Shalom
The Dawn
As a new day dawns
So does the dawn of opportunity
The opportunity to free our hearts and minds
From all worldly troubles, and
Embrace the reality of Self
Dance not to the song of illusion
Cling not to the theatre of torment
But follow the nectarine path
To the silent chamber of the Soul
Bask in the effulgence of wisdom
Drink from the cup of pure knowing
Know thyself, know thyself
The Light
Will You?
Will you flit with me across the sky, and
Keep me close as clouds roll by
Will you touch my heart with moonlight, and
Melt my soul with a nectarine sigh
Will you dance with me in the ether
Will you caress me with your breath
Will you sing me a song of the sweetest Love, and
Hold my hand at death

The Spirit Heals My Soul
I must confess that when I dwell on all the things that are going on in our crazy world, it fills me with the deepest sadness. I have never been able to understand why humans can inflict so much pain and suffering on fellow humans. A few weeks back I was having such a moment; I felt unbelievably sad at what was going on around the world and here in the UK. I decided that I would talk to the “Divine Doctor” and unload all my feelings. I was immediately touched within my heart in such a way that said, “I know how you feel; I understand.” This for me, brought immense beauty to the moment and I have been pondering ever since how to share the experience on my blog. So, here it is, along with a very simplistic poem that aptly sums up my relationship with Infinite Consciousness.
The Spirit never leaves me
The Spirit is my friend
The Spirit always guides me
As along the path I wend
The Spirit fills my heart with fire
The Spirit heals my soul
The Spirit sings a song of Love
When err I feel alone
I may not always understand
How the Spirit works
But that is good and fine with me
To its ways, I’m not averse
I appreciate the comfort
The Spirit gives to me
It doesn’t judge, it simply Loves
And all its gifts are free

The Beauty Within
With Nature’s grace
All things have their place
Whether good, bad or ugly
All are just opinions
Expressed by earth’s denizens
Never judge a book by the cover
Never believe you are more regal than another
From an egg
The fascinating caterpillar emerges
Only to disappear into pupal obscurity
Mother Nature weaves her magic, and
The Empress of The Lepidopteran Realm springs forth
In the form of a butterfly
Elegant and magnificent
She flits here and there
Breathing her vibrant magic into the world
In gratitude to the Mother that embraced her
She confers the gift of eggs to the earth
Then like a river that has found the ocean
She surrenders her spirit to the heavens
And so continues the cycle
With Nature’s grace
All things have their place
Whether good, bad or ugly
All are just judgements
Expressed by earth’s denizens
You never know what is contained within
So, be very careful what you opine
Never judge a book by the cover
Never believe you are more regal than another
