When Love Speaks

She’s nearly ready. Just going through the review process now.

Your Healing Balm

Howling wind and lashing rain

Nature’s way of saying, “time to refrain”

From rushing around and getting stressed

Just stay at home and have a rest

Take a moment to reflect on who you are

You’re a light eternal; a shining star

A friend indeed, a toucher of hearts

This is your purpose in our universe, so vast.

Just sit in the peace

You shelter from the storm

Embrace the calm

Feel the love

Your healing balm

As Peace Descends

As I lay here and gently drift away

I don’t have any more to say

I’m off to the realm of telepathy

Where everything is beautiful, and

Souls fly free

There are no regrets as peace descends

I face a new beginning

Not the end

Yes, there was pain

Yes, there was suffering

There was also bitter disappointment along the way

As I fought and stumbled through each day

But, I also loved until my heart was fit to burst

I beheld the reflection of the summer sun

Dancing across lakes and rivers

I witnessed the changing colours of the trees

As Mother Nature weaved her autumn magic

I felt the crisp cold of a winter’s morn

I’ve gazed into the eyes of an infant, and

Been confronted by the wisdom of the ages

I’ve been caressed by a gentle breeze as I looked out to sea

And watched in awe as the sun set on the horizon

Now as my sun goes down on the horizon of life

My body will decay and be consumed by Mother Earth

But my spirit will fly, and

Bask in the glory of Universal Love

Until such time as my heart once again hears the call

Then shall I return anew

And like the flowers of spring

I will bloom again

Love

I have no needs or requirements

I exist as I am

I am neither creature

Woman nor man

I don’t know sickness

I don’t know pain

I’m blind to loss, and

Oblivious to gain

I don’t need sustenance

I’m forever full

I remain unaffected

by gravity’s pull

I’m always in motion, yet

at the same time still

Have you guessed who I am yet, or

Do you remain without a clue

I am everywhere

Even in the sound of a bell

My name is Love

I occupy every cell

Do not try to find me

Your search will be in vain

Just surrender

Just surrender

Let me ease your pain

The Fragrance Of Jasmine

I’ve never expressed a love so pure

Pure as a mountain stream

Crystal clear and glistening in the sunlight

I’ve never before known such a heart

A heart that cares

That knows my reckless ways, and

Seeks to protect me from myself

I’ve never known anything so simple

Yet so beautiful

Like a swan gliding across a lake, or

A butterfly fluttering in the summer sun

My soul was truly touched

By the fragrance of Jasmine

The day I felt the love of

A beautiful sister

Was there ever a luckier man than I…

Birth And Death – Which Is Which?

So, which is which? When we are born, we are born into a very restrictive physical body and those who do not ultimately realise that they are something much greater than the body quite often live lives of “death.” In other words, they quite often live lives of pain and suffering. Paradoxically, when we go through the process of physical death, the soul experiences an incredible sense of freedom; the spirit literally flies when the body is shed.

Also, people with little or no spiritual awareness are usually very afraid to “die.” Given that death is a very important part of life, are they actually afraid to live? In contrast, people who have a certain level of spiritual awareness quite often do not fear death because they know that death is merely a process (not an end) by which we are able to transition to our next reality.

Of course, in consciousness there is neither birth nor death, only “That Which Is.”

Dearest Sister

Your home is in my heart

Dearest sister, I feel your pain

Share your tears with me

We shall cry them together

Let my heart envelope you

Let my Love dissolve away your troubles

Step inside

Your home is in my heart

An Unlikely Friend

Hi, I’m Death

I’m in the position to help you transition

To ease your mind, and

Show you a reality of a different kind

You’ve all been sold a pup

The religionists are wrong

I’m not at all bad

More like a sweet song

There is no demon to judge you

No hell to burn you

Only loved ones to greet you, and

Lead you to a new life of wonder

I’m death

I’ve come to soothe you

To cradle you in my arms

Just let go

Just let go

Just let go…

I’m An Atom

I’ve been a blade of grass

I’ve been an atomic blast

I’ve been the hand stroking a loved one’s hair

I’ve been a fibre on your favourite chair

I’m an atom and I’ve been everywhere

I’ve been the mountain up on high

I’ve been the star shooting across the sky

I’ve been the sole beneath your boot

I’ve been the gold in a robber’s loot

I’m an atom and I’ve been everywhere

We are both the same, me and you

So, don’t let religion tell you what to do

They threaten you with the man in the sky

Who will send you to hell when you die

But, we are atoms you and I

For timeless eternity we will fly

We are atoms and will never die

The Diamond

Your soul is like the diamond, which started its journey as carbon, deep within the earth’s mantle, 100 or more miles below the surface. Through billions of years of natural processes, that piece of carbon made its way up through the layers and emerged onto the earth, finding its way into the hands of a skilled artisan. It was then fashioned into the beautiful jewel that it is today.

Your soul, too, emerged out of the wilderness and through many, many lifetimes was fashioned by the artisan of life, the Divine sculptor. Each tap of the hammer and chisel representing a trial or tribulation on the march to Buddhahood.

The only difference being that when you reach, you realise that you were already a shining diamond…but what an adventure it was!
